Los Andreses refers to the shared name and talents of the wine maker and wine grower. It is an exclusive collaboration between sisters Ruth & Ana.
This wine is hand harvested. The ‘native fermentation’ of whole grapes occurs in stainless steel, where daily pump overs are used to moderate a cool to warm fermentation and minimise tannin extraction. Both grape varietals are then blended to age on their lees until being bottled unfiltered.
The bottle is presented without a capsule to cut down on waste.
Deep ruby in colour that leads to aromas of black cherry, pomegranate & juniper. Toasted peppercorn, a signature of Navarra Garnacha comes through after a minute in the glass followed by dried thyme and cherry. Fresh on the palate, filled with red fruit, earthy with a nice finish.
Perfect with fully flavoured dishes from the grill.
