Alioli derives from two Catalan words ‘Garlic & Oil’, and is found all across Spain. This very pungent garlic sauce made from olive oil, garlic & egg is the perfect accompaniment to many dishes, such as bread, tortilla (Spanish omelette), patatas bravas & fried fish. At Bar 44, we have raised the bar with ours by adding oloroso sherry & sherry vinegar to the mix giving it that extra gutsy flavour. Bar 44 won Battle of the Bravas in London with this sauce.
